Sold at auction during the World Croquet Championships held at the National Croquet Centre in Florida U.S.A. during May 2009. Picture depicts the founder of the U.S. Croquet Association the late Jack Osborn who like Johnny Appleseed spread the seed for a nationwide U.S. game by retaining elements of backyard Croquet combined with the same court setting and equipment as the International game he formed his beloved "U.S. Rules" version. The five seeds represent the "first five clubs" who helped make Osborn's dream a reality.
