Escherequese elements include the Summer House, Ball Box and the hoops,pegs and ball configuration. This is Croquet in the early days with two pegs, prior to the Willis (six hoops, one peg) setting and in those days the centre hoops and pegs were known as "Ladies Mile". Balls pegged out are referred to as "one or two in the box".
